Email forwarding

I've read through a years worth of responses and it isnt working.  Since I can not get notifications to my phone when an email comes in, I decided to just forward them all from Comcast to Gmail.   Still they don't come through.   Both boxes are checked.  Very frustrating using this email which has always been my primary, and have to keep logging into the Xfinity app or website to check emails.
