Email Accounts
The Xfinity Account Holder has several Comcast email accounts. At least two of those accounts belong to his sibling. His sibling no longer resides with him, and he would like to disassociate himself from his brother's email accounts without deleting his brother's email access. How can he allow these email accounts to stay active without being the primary account holder of these email accounts?

Hey there! Totally understand where you’re coming from — when it comes to email accounts tied to an Xfinity account, things can feel a little tricky, especially when someone moves out but still needs access.
Here’s how it works: Comcast email addresses are tied to the primary Xfinity ID (the main account holder), but the good news is that once an email account is created, it can stay active even if it's no longer associated with the main account — as long as it's logged into regularly.
If your brother wants to keep using his email independently, the easiest thing to do is have him log in at connect.xfinity.com every so often. That way, the system knows it's still active, and it won’t be deactivated due to inactivity. He can also add a recovery email and phone number to help manage the account on his own at xfinity.com/id.
Now, if the account holder is looking to fully separate the email from their own account view — while we can't technically "transfer" Comcast emails to a totally different account owner — those emails can still function independently outside of the Xfinity account as long as they’re being accessed.
Hope that helps clear it up! If you or your brother want help walking through any of those steps, we’re happy to guide you — just let us know!
