Create A New Email Account Without A Mobile Number

I only have one cell phone but want a secondary email address.  I sent the invitation to a Gamil account.  I got it, and tried to activate.  It asks for a mobile number, but won't except mine since it was already used.  Is there away around this?

If you're trying to create a secondary comcast.net account you're out of luck.  Comcast stopped issuing email accounts in June 2025.

@Again thanks for the reply.  It seemed to go through the steps till I got to entering a mobile number. Oh well, more Comcast/Xfinity [Edited: "Language"] to make everything extra complicated and impossible to get a real answer.

Your best bet is to just create another Gmail email address.

Thanks for taking the time to post on our community forums, SammyS56! To clarify, are you trying to create a new comcast.net email? If so, Again is 100% correct. While you can create and manage secondary user roles for your account, you can no longer create new comcast.net email addresses along with them.

@XfinitySean Yes, I was trying to create a @comcast.net account. Thanks on that issue. So do I have to create like a yahoo or Gmail account, and assign it to a "role" these days?

Thanks for confirming! In that case, you unfortunately would be able to create a new comcast.net email account as the option no longer available, I apologize.
You'd only need to create a new Yahoo or Gmail account if your existing email addresses are not already in use in our system and linked to an Xfinity ID.

@XfinitySean I am confused in your text, "unfortunately would be able to create a new comcast.net email account as the option no longer available". Should that would NOT be able to create. ???

Creating Xfinity Emails is no longer available. New Xfinity Emails cannot be created any longer. If you need an email address, you can enroll on a variety of third-party email providers @SammyS56.
