Consistent Message: connect.xfinity.com is asking you to open email links

I consistently get this popup message (connect.xfinity.com is asking you to open email links) any time I want to reply or forward an email & I can't figure where & which setting to chance to eliminate this relatively minor annoyance.

Yes, the solution appears to have solved this minor, but annoying part of forwarding or replying to emails. Thanks to BruceW.

... connect.xfinity.com is asking you to open email links ...

In webmail, look to see if

(gear icon) / Email Settings / Mail / Behavior / Ask for mailto link registration

is checked. If it is, you'll get that message. Clearing the checkbox should disable it.

My days have been seasonally too busy. I just applied your fix suggestion & it appears to work. One minor annoyance in life solved. Much appreciated BruceW.
