Comcast.net email quota warning 100%

Hello, I received an email on my comcast.net email from postmaster@comcast.net stating my email has reached 100% of my quota. I deleted all of my inbox, so completey emptied everything. Now I still can not receive emails or send out emails? Please help!

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section for assistance.

The contents of all your folders count against your quota, not just Inbox. Even the contents of Trash count against it. If you deleted a bunch of messages but didn't empty Trash, you still won't be under quota.

Thank you Bruce! Everything was deleted on the account including trash. Has this happen to you as well?

No, I keep my mailbox petty tidy, I don't think I've ever seen my usage over 1%. But I know it does happen and sometimes users don't realize that the messages they delete still count against the quota if the Trash folder hasn't been emptied. Of course, sometimes the cause is something Comcast/Xfinity has done and beyond user control. Good luck with this!
