Comcast ip blocklisted, email keep going to spam
Hello,
my emails keep going into peoples spam folders, even if I’m simply replying to their emails. At first I thought that the issue was with my email host, but the issue is with the Comcast ip address that I have been assigned.
How can I fix this issue?

Hello @user_afd83d and thank you for reaching out. You will need to contact our support via 1-800-XFINITY and ask to speak to our Customer Security Assurance team. They have the proper tools to assist you with with a possible IP Block.

When you spoke to the CSA team they told you to reach out to us? They should have put in a ticket for you. Did they give you any ticket number?

Where is it listed? If you are a residential Comcast customer and your public IP is listed on something like the Spamhaus PBL, you can't remove it. All dynamic residential IPs assigned by all ISPs can change at any time, and for that reason all of them are, or should be, on a number of policy blocklists. That doesn't mean you can't send email or that your email should be considered spam, it only means you can't operate an email server on your Comcast service. That would also be contrary to Comcast's Internet AUP (see https://www.xfinity.com/Corporate/Customers/Policies/HighSpeedInternetAUP).

spamhaus and MX Toolbox says that my ip address is blacklisted. My emails are sent through our dreamhost email server. Dreamhost says that it’s nothing on their end and that it must be the ip address from my isp. We don’t send mass emails, but the emails will wind up in our customers spam folder.

You haven't said which list your IP is on. Mail services shouldn't "spam" your mail just because it's on of the Policy blocklists like the Spamhaus PBL. If you're on one of the "known spam sender" lists, that's a different kettle of fish. Which is it?

When I check my ip address on Spamhaus, it says
This IP is listed in the Policy Blocklist (PBL)
Don’t panic!
The inclusion of your IP address on the Policy Blocklist (PBL) is standard for the vast majority of internet users and is not the result of your actions. Here are some key PBL facts for your understanding:
i checked my domain names on Spamhaus and they came up with no issues

As stated, all Comcast residential IPs are, or should be. Suggest if you are using Dreamhost to send the mail that is being "spammed" that you work with them to identify the reason why. No competent email operator would "spam" mail just because it contains an IP that is listed on the PBL.
