Comcast email

I was forced to migrate my Comcast email to Yahoo by xfinity. It has been a nightmare and horrible. Email now full of ads. Must pay Yahoo a monthly fee to get rid of ads. To get Yahoo help, they want a credit card and charge for it. Simply the worst. Emails clump together. Difficult to navigate. Why would xfinity do this to good customers?

Hey there, @user_gywwkk, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your Comcast email.

We’ve chosen to partner with Yahoo Mail to provide customers with a comcast.net email the ability to upgrade their email account to Yahoo Mail for a better email experience at no extra cost. If you choose to upgrade to Yahoo Mail, your email address, messages, folders, and contacts will stay the same. Yahoo Mail provides a ton of great features, including enhanced security, smart and intuitive calendar features, AI-driven tools to streamline your inbox management, and a mobile app, so you can stay connected on the go. The upgrade to Yahoo Mail does not impact any paid services customers may have with Xfinity.

Try installing an ad blocker in your browser.  I don't have the Premium service and I don't see ads [no, I haven't migrated, but have had a @yahoo.com email address for like forever and I don't see ads].  As far as the rest you should be able to fix your email the way you want it by going into settings.

@Again The ads will not block on Yahoo (the comcast accounts) unless you pay $4.95/month. Is there anyway to get Yahoo to help those that migrate to Yahoo from Comcast without paying. I am having so many issues. If I send a reply to someone, the reply shows up in my original email and deletes the attachment in the original email. This has happened twice and I lost two important attachments. The emails all clump together. Also, I lost all my group address lists. I thought everything migrated over. Is anyone looking at this mess?
