Comcast email on iPhone blocked when traveling internationally

My Comcast email on my iPhone has been blocked after a day of traveling internationally. I can see it by connecting via internet to Xfinity but can’t get it on my iPhone or iPad. Trying to find a way to communicate with a live person at Xfinity via dm or chat

Thank you for reaching out to our social media team, it’s great we can connect this way. If you can access your email via  https://login.xfinity.com/login. The on your iPhone, go to mail app setting, then under account settings, go and re input your password that you used to sign into the xfinity website with.

Thanks Orlando. This seemed to fix the inbox but the SMTP outbox is not sending messages. Any ideas on that would certainly be appreciated.

This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/pop-imap-iphone has great info how to switch you email from pop to IMAP,  give that a try and see if that fixes the outbound messages.

You can also delete the emails form your iPhone app. And add the email back in  as sometimes you need to delete & reinstall the email

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section for assistance.

Sounds like what happened to us in SE Asia around 10/16/24. I have spoken with 4 Comcast support staff and no one seems to know how to fix this. And we are back in the US for 48 hrs. We can access emails on xfinity.com or .net, but not in they are not pushed to the iPhone. I don't have a solution, but Apple told me to check with Comcast.

Thank you for reaching out to let us know about the issue. I hope your travels in SE Asia went well besides the issues with email upon your arrival. I know how important it is to have access to your communication, so I understand the urgency. If you access your emails directly via our website, do you run into any issues? Have you reviewed your Apple settings and configuration?
