When it's your time to migrate to Yahoo! Mail, you will receive an official Comcast email with the Terms of Service and Privacy Notice.  If you're not already doing so, make sure you check email in webmail because that email will have the official Xfinity email logo.

Here is information regarding the transition to Yahoo! Mail:

I have been getting emails about changing my email account but I thought they were all phishing and I sent them all to spam. None of them looked official to me. I am sure there are people out there trying to trick comcast customers over this. What do I do now and how do I know the emails are real?

That's where you go to sign in to webmail, instead of using your third party email app.

Hello @user_1ad35b, thank you for your comment.  You would log into your account. Choose Xfinity ID and security, and then you will choose two-step verification in the security section to disable.

I've read about the comcast email transition to yahoo email. I've received several emails regarding this change that don't appear to be legitimate. I'm concerned I won't recognize the legitimate email when I receive it? Any others receiving questionable emails about the transition?

The best way to tell is to log in to webmail and see if the email has the verified logo next to it.

Always check your online website version for Xfinity email to see if a messagpge is legit!...My Amazon Kindle Fire tablets, for example, have a very limited software, etc. formatting within the Tablets' themselves and only give a very limited amount of crossover categories or styling from Web into the Tablet Silk Browser, which does not show complete or updated information and formatting that will be given only in the Xfinity online original.  The online Xfinity original weblink is ALWAYS your best bet to check anything for accuracy or validity!
