Comcast and Gmail

Since 12/9 comcast emails are not going to Gmail.  It does not recognize the Comcast Password. I tried to delete the comcast email and re-add in gmail but still won't recognize password associated with the email address. I can get me emails on the Xfinity site only. How can i get this restored?

user_jgwa4m Can you check your settings for Gmail to see if it's not an issue there potentially?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

I'm having the same problem.  Any solution yet.  Gmail quit accepting comcast email and it will now not allow you to reinstall the gmail account.  It will not accept the password not matter what I tried.

Hi there, @user_xfvh2d! Are you able to log in to your Comcast email normally via our portal? While we have no information on this being a Comcast issue, we have had some customers needing to update their passwords that caused issues with third party linking.
