Cleaning Inbox Apparently Caused Emails To Be Blocked

A couple weeks ago I decided to clean up my Inbox. I had quite a few emails from one professional organization and selected multiple emails to send to trash (instead of deleting one-by-one). During the process my Comcast email froze so I decided to take a break. When I returned it was still frozen, so I logged out and rebooted my PC. The good news... all the selected emails were deleted. The bad news... I am no longer receiving ANY new emails from anyone at this organization. I've checked my spam folder, and they are not there. Could I have inadvertently blocked every sender with this organization? Any guidance will be appreciated.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_w9tzjx. Have you already checked the spam and email filters to confirm the settings are not set to block that specific address?

Yes. I checked both Filter Rules ("there is no rule defined") and Advanced Settings (Automatic is checked under Spam Filtering).

user_w9tzjx, thank you for confirming. Have you checked with this organization to see if they've gotten any error codes or messages sent back when trying to email you directly? Does this happen only with this single email address, or have you seen it with other senders?

@user_w9tzjx Did you delete them, or mark them as spam?  What is the sending domain?

I deleted them and confirmed they were in the Trash folder. Since then, I've not received any emails from any sender at SunBeltSports.org. Normally I receive several every day from multiple senders. I'm sure the emails are generated from a large database. I rarely get a personal email from the senders. I check my spam and trash folders daily. I've emailed one contact and will update if they see an error message.

Thank you for that information @user_w9tzjx. I would be happy to look further into that problem from here. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
