Changed E-mail username - Now receiving "Mail Server Denies Access" & "Invalid Sieve Credentials"

I changed my e-mail username yesterday. The e-mail was working previously. Once changed,

when I log in and click on my e-mail I get the error "Mail Server Denies Access".

If I try to send an e-mail I get the same error. I also see an error of "Invalid Sieve Credentials" when I click on the e-mail settings.

I cannot recieve any mail (I tried sending from my other e-mail and it was returned). I called in and they could not figure out what the issue was.

Has anyone experienced this?

I'm having the same issue.

I switched to Xfinity and created a new email address by eliminating the underscore in the default address. I now receive error message, saying "Error Mail server denies access." in a pop-up whenever I try to log in to my email. I am having no trouble logging in, like there's no username/password issues. It just is a "server issue." If I go to the email settings, I get an "invalid sieve credentials" error message. Hoping you can help!

Hey @user_704955, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our forums. Can you create a new post as this one is over a year old? Once created, we can certainly help get your email fixed.
