can't send email from phone

I see similar questions in this forum but no real answer. Able to receive emails on my iphone Mail interface...but not send. I can send emails from my desktop. I have uninstalled/reinstalled...did not fix.

I am having the same issue. I can send emails from my account on my computer but not on my iphone mail app. I have changed the port settings, changed my password, updated my IOS to 18.3 but still no luck. The only thing I have not done is deleted my account and reinstalled it because I did not want to loose all my notes which are apparently linked to my email! I called Xfinity and was on the phone for over an hour without any resolution. Advanced tech support was supposed to call me back but no call and I am unable to get a human on the phone with Xfinity! Help Please!!

user_gk2waw I know the felling I would have if I were in your shoes. Emails are very important. Please try the following steps:

To set up your Xfinity email on the iPhone Mail app, follow these steps:

Open Settings: Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
Add Account: Scroll down and tap on "Mail," then "Accounts," and select "Add Account."
Choose Other: Since Xfinity isn't listed among the default options, select "Other."
Add Mail Account: Tap on "Add Mail Account" and enter your name, Xfinity email address, password, and a description for the account.
IMAP or POP: Choose IMAP (recommended) or POP. For IMAP, use the following settings:
Incoming Mail Server:
Host Name: imap.comcast.net
Username: Your full Xfinity email address
Password: Your Xfinity email password
Outgoing Mail Server:
Host Name: smtp.comcast.net
Username: Your full Xfinity email address
Password: Your Xfinity email password
Save and Verify: Tap "Next" and wait for the Mail app to verify your settings. Once verified, tap "Save."
Your Xfinity email should now be set up and ready to use on your iPhone.
