Customer Security Assurance
Business Hours: 8:00am - 12:00am EST, 7 days a week
Contact: 1-888-565-4329

Try calling them and ask for Tier 2 support.  I cannot guarantee you they will unblock it.

Please do not start multiple threads on this issue as it is against Forum Guidelines and the Acceptable Use Policy.

Did you try calling Customer Security Assurance tier 2 as I recommended?

I have been Calling in to get this resolved every day this week to check on the progress.
And i have been Transferred repeatedly OR given sometimes (bogus) numbers to call. told they could help?
844-963-0185 (level 2 xfinity)
855-343-2247 1 (is xfinity helth care number......why or how can they help?????)
Xxx-xxx-9250 (some ones personal number that dose not work for xfinity. not giving out the number as this is a public place.
And Still my issue has not been resolved.

https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/port-25-unblock-art-of-the-business-as-usual-runaround-and-is-there-anybody-out-there/636861fc92a15b227c29043f

I have seen other people here where @XfinityCSAEmail fixes it.

and I have the same feeling about the Customer support at this point.

I am a New Customer.
And Would like to use this company because of its faster speeds offered. Witch are nice.
So at this point my options are.
A. Pay for a VPN, to bypass the blocked internet ports i need.
B. Get a Full Refund as i can use it for my job.

FWI I use port 25 for Work. testing and working with servers.
As well as use it to Test Home Security systems. Notifications, messages.

I Agree Port 25 Should not Be use for Email submission. (not using it for that)

Port 25 Is used for Email Server  to EMAIL SERVER SMTP (No other port is used)
Any Email Relay Should be using a White List Of Accepted Domains witch to receive Emails from.
Along with Grey listing and Anti Spam software to deal with Spam.
So Why BLOCK port 25. It feels like a band-aide solution. when Port 25 is a bit of a multi-tool. One port for many purposes.
Then not being able to unblock Port25 when i call in, given the run around. promising to fix it. with no call backs?

I am Just Vary Frustrated at this point.

@pclance            Port 25 is unsecured, and Botnet spammers can use it to send spam. This does not affect Xfinity Email website usage. I know you're not using it for email as you mentioned previously, but we are unable to unblock a port from our end to my understanding.  That is why the CSA team was recommended for you. We just don't have the ability to do that.

Not the Issue, Port 25 works internally. its only when connecting to the outside that it fails.

Most ports:

(internet) ----Xfinity----myhome == ok

Port 25:
(internet) ---XX---Xfinity---XX---myhome == port 25 Blocked

(internet) ----ATnT----myhome == port 25 ok

ESP8266 unit cant communicate out, to the work servers on port 25.
