blacklisted ip address

When accessing my comcast.net email account via Apple Mail, I get a message that my IP address has been temporarily blacklisted. How can I get it unblocked?

Yes.  I can also access using cellular data (via my hotspot).  Just not when using my ISP.

Thank you for the confirmation. If you are getting a blacklisted IP error you may need to reach out to the customer security team at the https://spa.xfinity.com/help site or call them directly at 1-888-565-4329.

I have been getting the same server error messages through Thunderbird for two separate Comcast email addresses. Windows 11.

I can see the emails logging directly into Xfinity, but getting the emails to show up in Thunderbird with the continuous error/warnings is hit-and-miss, mostly miss.

Because of the blocked IP flag sent from Comcast, Thunderbird has been asking me to re-enter in my Comcast email password. Doing so doesn't fix the problem.

Is this a known issue, or is Comcast blaming users (again!) for this issue?
