amazon blocked email

Amazon claims that they are sending me emails and that they are being blocked.  Can I get assistance with this problem?

Thank you, @user_992854, for reaching out on our Xfinity Community forums.  (And thank you @EG for shining a spotlight on this one for us!)

If Amazon is indicating that messages are being sent but you're not receiving them, there are a few things you can check before we assume the messages are being blocked.

First, check your Spam, Junk, and Trash folders to see if the messages are being filtered there. You may also want to search your mailbox for emails from Amazon addresses such as @amazon.com, @amazonmail.com, or @marketplace.amazon.com.

Next, review any email filters or blocked sender lists you may have configured in your email settings. It's possible that Amazon emails were accidentally blocked or routed to another folder.

You can also try adding Amazon's email addresses to your contacts or safe senders list, which can help prevent messages from being filtered incorrectly.

If you're using a comcast.net email address with a third-party email application such as Outlook, Apple Mail, or Thunderbird, try signing directly into your Comcast email through the webmail portal to see if the messages appear there.

A few questions that may help narrow this down:

 - Are you missing all Amazon emails, or only specific ones such as password resets, order confirmations, or two-factor authentication codes?

 - Approximately when did the issue begin?

 - Are you using a comcast.net email address that is accessed directly through Comcast email, or through a third-party email app?

Those details can help determine whether we're looking at a filtering issue, a sender reputation issue, or something else affecting delivery.

Thanks for your response Cliff.  I have been experiencing problems with receiving security OTP emails from Amazon.  The problem started last Wednesday 3/9/2026.  I have received promotional emails from Amazon during this period.  I access my Comcast email account through a web browser or my phone using the gmail app on an Android phone.

The security emails do not show up in spam folders.  I have no filters on my email account or on my Gmail app on my phone.

Could you by any chance look at logs for my email account and verify if those messages were rejected by Comcast email servers?

I am trying to close my Amazon account and this is preventing me from completing that.

Thanks for your help
