Am I required to change my Comcast.net email account to a Yahoo!.com account?

I have gotten two emails that look like SPAM, but I can't afford to [Edited: "Language"] up my email account so I need to be sure. I have been instructed I will be required to change my email account from Comcast.net to a Yahoo!.com email since Comcast is outsourcing their email services to Yahoo!  I don't know if this is true or not because I can't get a human to ask! I only get the stupid AI/Virtual Assistant "help" that is a complete waste of time!

This is the most recent email. I don't know enough to know if this is a scam. I think it is because it is from an outlook.com email that is crazy sounding, but I have to know so I don't lose my contacts and emails. I HATE this "updated" form of communication with AI, bots, and virtual assistants instead of an actual person to talk to me. I don't know what to do or who I can contact to actually SPEAK to a REAL HUMAN BEING! I need HELP!!!

That's a scam message trying to steal information from you.

Check email that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity with their Connect webmail (https://connect.xfinity.com/) and look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email for examples of valid logo placement. A logo in the body of the email does not count.

Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program. It's only visible when you use their web email site, and only for email sent to a Comcast.net address.

To report a scam email follow the instructions under the "How do I report phishing email sent to or from a Comcast.net email account?" heading on https://spa.xfinity.com/help/email-abuse?faq=spam-email.

In https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/switching-to-yahoo/688f5fd3c3884e34154bc962?commentId=688fe7e1c3884e3415511bfa&replyId=6890c604c3884e3415575eba employee @XfinityAlex stated that 'the option to migrate will come from "updates.xfinity.com".' If an "update" email does not come from that address, it's a scam. Also, "Update" emails that have any sort of "click here or lose your access" link are almost always scams. Do not click!

See https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/xfinity-comcastnet-emails-transition-to-yahoo/6883ec0a64c6412424623141?commentId=6887d51b1724e917a036cbcf&replyId=688a7aa41724e917a04fca2a, where employee @XfinityBenny describes the notification process.

See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-overview. When your addresses are converted to Yahoo they'll still be Comcast.net address, but you'll use Yahoo to access them (I think -- Comcast/Xfiity has not been very helpful in providing details).
