As someone that has email accounts for both work and personal use, I know how important email access can be, so I can understand the frustration. You have reached the right team of experts that can take a look at this for you. From the error you are describing it sounds like the error you are getting is from a third party app. Have you tried going into the Xfinity website and see if you are able to check the email?
