2FA requires authentication at EVERY login even when checkbox to disable for this browser is selected!!!
Apparently this is a 3+ year old issue that Xfinity can't or won't fix?
Also, before anyone provides help that doesn't help, I don't want to disable 2FA: What I want is what posters to the prior linked thread asked for: Acknowledgement that this is broken and that someone will address & fix so I don't need to provide 2FA on browsers for which I've checked the box that says Xfinity won't ask for extra authentication next time.
Thanks.

Greetings, @user_nvsl0h! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about this understandably frustrating issue. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
I have seen several reports from customers where the "Don’t ask again in this browser" option does not seem to work correctly, but it's not a universal issue that impacts everyone. My PC will ask me to confirm the push notification on my Xfinity app once every week or two, but it doesn't happen every time I try to log in, like some users have reported. I'm not sure if this is a browser security configuration issue, or possibly a firewall security issue, but something is definitely causing a recurring conflict between the browser and the account server.
The best thing we can do is create a ticket and make sure this keeps being reported to our developers until we know exactly what settings need to be adjusted to keep the browser details stored for recurring logins.
If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

To preserve that checkbox selection:
