Why do I have to enter a security code on every login to read e-mail?

I have had two-factor authentication enabled for a while. For the past few days I have had to enter a security code sent to my phone every time I log in. Each time I make sure the box that says not to ask me again in this browser is checked, but invariably I have to do the same thing on the next login. I have just disabled two-factor authentication, because it has become too annoying, but that is certainly not my preferred solution!

It is May 2022 and this is still not fixed! I get asked 2FA EVERY time I log in on my home computer even though I tell it EVERY time to not require it on this device! Please fix this,  I can't stand it! Also, the log in is crazy - all kinds of different passwords pop up. The drop down menu to select the name of the user who is logging in has disappeared! Come on Comcast! ENOUGH is ENOUGH! For as much as we pay!

Hello @talupia We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us today and thanks for bringing this to our attention. I know how frustrating it is to continuously get asked for the codes and I can definitely submit feedback to have this looked into.

In the meantime, have you tried using other browsers to see if it is a browser specific issue?

Also, have you tried turning off two-factor verification?

Is there a spot to check “remember this computer”? Or are you using a public computer?

@lkpolovchik Note the previous poster's statement "even though I tell it EVERY time to not require it on this device!" This problem is over four months old now and there has apparently been no improvement. (I can't speak to that with authority, because I gave up on 2FA four months ago and don't see any reason to try again until someone at least claims that the problem has been fixed.)
