Zero credit
I tried to get financed for a phone. They said they would do a soft credit check. I have a near 800 score on all three agencies. I have a freeze on all three. The agencies have told me that this doesn’t impact a soft credit check. Xfinity came back and said I was approved for zero dollars. I’ve spent several hours on the phone and the last rep said to call Experian and ask them to raise my credit limit. I tried to explain that’s not how it works but didn’t get anywhere. Anyone else run into this?

You were very much right to call out that calling the credit agency would not be the fix here, @user_9zovgo. I can tell you that our system will not be able to run the external credit check if your credit is frozen. If you'd like our team can make sure your device payment plan balance is properly reviewed again, but you'll need to unfreeze your credit report. If you would like to move forward with that path, please send our team a direct message with your full name and service address.
How to Send Us a Direct Message:
1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
6. A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
8. Press Enter to send it.
