Xfinity Video Chat
All,
I was having a really big issue with Xfinity doing a lot of shady things. Not wanting to follow through with claims neither internally or externally, involving a lost package of a trade in phone, random charges trying to be forcefully deducted without reason, not following through with tickets submitted, trying to low-ball me with what I am properly and lawfully owed, and other things.
I just went into a Xfinity store, 8/9/2026 at 10am, as they opened the doors. I explained the situation to the employee who then called over the manager of the store. After explaining the debacle, the manager and employee were so overwhelmed and admitted that my case was so deep that it had to be escalated. I, as usual at this point, thought "here I go again, another open ticket without follow up or further resolution".
The Store manager said to the employee to set me up with the virtual store assistant for a video call. At this moment, 2 thoughts:
1) when the heck will this happen, bc I'm done with this wasting time [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"]. It's been months already.
2) I have never heard of this being a thing/ option!! I have been with Comcast since it was time warner.
I asked when said call would take place. The manager pointed over to the FaceTime booth kind of area and said "Right now".
Let's get it!!!
They dialed out with a code or whatever and bam, live agent! Even though they sounded and looked exactly like what we all have been talking to this whole time, it was a live person! A person that you can look at and hold responsible, LIVE! They couldn't run or put me on hold or [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] me, they had to look into my account and look me in the face as they spoke.
We went through my whole account and all my issues and "resolved my issues"; which I will find out in a few days whether it's true or not. But everything seems to be good now and all my questions were answered and issues were resolved.
YALL SHOULD WALK INTO A XFINITY STORE NOT A BRANDED STORE AND DO THIS TO RESOLVE YOUR ISSUES!!!
If I didn't know this I am sure that me posting this will help others!
Have a great Sunday!
