Xfinity App is no longer working

I have Android 11 on my Xfinity Motorola one 5G Ace mobile phone.  I can no longer use the Xfinity app. Xfinity.com says the app works on Android 10 and up. I uninstalled it and tried to download again from The Play Store and it says its not compatible with my phone. I don't understand. Yes I cleared the cache but that didn't work so I ended up uninstalling it. What has happened and how do I get to all the features that were on the App to manage my services-billing/check outages/troubleshoot,etc?  The app still works on my Lenovo tablet Android 13 but I really need it on my cell phone.  Thanks.

I have Android 11 ... Xfinity.com says the app works on Android 10 and up. ...

That information is out of date. Please see https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/xfinity-app/no-longer-compatible/6a21e4b2052cec7ac37ba668?commentId=6a21f8e0adf0282a75682cc0&replyId=6a22f3459c2bb2117e3cf6a9

Surely they could spend a couple of bucks and just update the darn app.....Oh My Goodness. Android 11 is not archaic.

@TerriB They want you to "spend a couple of bucks" and buy a new phone.

The same thing happened to me. What next. They cannot expect me to purchase a new phone.

Happened with my Galaxy A50 which I purchased as new from Xfinity, too! I've done the same things and now don't know what to expect. I'm nervous because I'll have to travel abroad soon.

I am having the exact same issue. I can not even change my billing payment.

Hi there. I can understand how frustrating that would be, especially when you're simply trying to update your payment information and the app is no longer supported on your device.

You can still manage your billing and update your payment method through the Xfinity website by following these steps:

  1. Visit https://www.xfinity.com
  2. Select Sign In and log in with your Xfinity ID and password.
  3. Navigate to Account and then Billing.
  4. Select Payment Methods or Manage Payment Methods.
  5. Add a new payment method or update your existing one.
  6. Save your changes and follow any prompts to confirm the update.
