visual voicemail on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Has anyone discovered a fix for this? I'm using Google Voice for VV currently, but want to get away from Google.

@user_7yo7kn Are you referring to having your voicemail messages show up as transcribed? Have you tried going into the Phone App (where you make calls), press three dots in upper right corner, select Visual Voicemail, then enable by allowing permissions?

Yes, this doesn't work because "Visual Voicemail" doesn't appear.

No this question was not answered. I sent a DM and have heard nothing. The very expensive Samsung phone that Xfinity sold me is now in a drawer because it doesn't have full functionality. Please fix this. Questions about this are all over the Internet and no one has an answer.

I have the same issue, but do not have a sign in account for my mobile account with xfinity due to bulk account, so can't send a dm.  I have spent 4 hours on the line with xfinity customer support with no resolution.

Xfinity visual voicemail has not worked for several years, and the Play Store listing for it specifies that it is only compatible with much older phones (I have an S22). There is a very simple workaround: use a third party VM app. I use Youmail but there are others out there as well, including transcription and customizable greetings. Yes, it's disappointing that the Xfinity app doesn't work and that the Samsung app is only visual in the sense of showing a list of messages (but no transcription), but that would certainly never drive me to discard my phone and absolutely not send me to iPhone.
