Trade in returned
I traded in my iPhone XR in January for $350 credit towards my new phone. Today, June 13th, I got it back in the mail with no explanation. After reading some of these posts, it appears this is all a scam and my phone was never going to be accepted??? You have to be kidding me. I would have never bought this new phone if I wouldn’t have received a credit. The phone was old, they obviously knew that. But it worked great and looked great. I just joined mobile and now I’m already planning on leaving. Some of the worst customer service ever! I cannot believe this!

Did you factory reset the phone as required? If you did not, they will not accept it, as it has personal data on it, and you have it locked with a passcode.

Hey @user_qnekv1, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the recent Xfinity Mobile trade-in program. We have limited information and access to the Xfinity Mobile account and billing. Have you already contacted our Xfinity Mobile team to see if they have any information available for the trade-in?
When trading in a device, you would need to remove and disabled Find My, factory restore the device and remove any personal data/information. Our 'How do I trade in my old device with Xfinity Mobile?' support page provides many steps needed before trading in a device. Did you also happen to receive any email from Assurant regarding the denied trade-in? If an alternative offer was not provided, the phone may have had a security feature enabled which would deny the trade in.
