puk

I stupidly locked my sim card on my phone and now it's asking me for my puk number and I don't have it.  I tried the 1111 and then it asks me to create a new pin I do that and I reenter it and it says if I put in the incorrect pin 8 more times it will be locked forever or something like that.  my husband is online with support and they're not helping much
