Nightmare trying to transfer mobile phones from Xfinity to T-Mobile
I am in the process of un-bundling my packages - internet, land-line phone, mobile phones, television - that has been in the hands of Xfinity for 2 decades. They call me a Diamond member but I have been treated like [Edited: "Language"]. I started with transferring my mobile lines (2) and home internet yesterday. I had no trouble setting up the All Home Internet from T-Mobile. I was on the phone with T-Mobile customer service as I began the process of transferring the two mobile phones. This was after I got the Pin # from Xfinity which notified them that I was switching carriers. Issue #1 - my phone appeared to be transferred to the T-Mobile account with the same phone number but was incompatible according to my T-Mobile account because it was Locked. Issue #2 - my grandson's phone transferred over to T-Mobile account but his number and watch remained on the Xfinity Account. Issue #3 my phone is now working at all.
I have spent over 5 hour yesterday and all day today talking to customer service on the phone from both Xfinity and T-Mobile as well as visiting both physical stores. Issue #2 was resolved, Issues #1 and #3 are still with me and both companies are pointing the finger and saying "it's the other company's issue." The phone was completely paid for and should not be locked at all. I have tried everything and been more than patient but this is ridiculous. Also, the person who I talked to at Xfinity store was rude and after telling me there was nothing he could do for me (without even looking into the matter), he said it was a T-Mobile issue and I probably let one of my grandchildren put a lock on my Sim card. Like, why would I do that?
