If I go buy a new Samsung galaxy phone I will be able to add it to bring your own phone and have a free year plan no charge upfront or added to bill

Greetings @user_pu3rc2, and thanks for reaching out to us on the Xfinity forums, I hope this message finds you well. You have come to the right place for assistance with this question. As long as you have not had Xfinity mobile in the past, and are on a plan that qualifies for the free line, then you would be able to bring a phone that you own and activate it with Xfinity mobile and the line would be free for the first 12 months on the Mobile Select plan.
