Deception
Xfinity mobile trade in deceitful with value of old phone decided to trade in for new iPhone 16 for mom. Was told $1,000 would be credited on bills over course of next year. When new phone was mailed and I set up we took old phone to local store to trade it in for the $1,000. They said we could keep it and would still receive the full credit amount. I was suspicious of a teenager so called them when got home and that rep confirmed that we could keep both phones and we would still get our $1,000. Each rep said the dollar value of $1,000. Then about six weeks later I got an email stating trade in credit was canceled. I called right away. After almost two hours I was told it was fixed in the system and he said I needed to mail the phone to assurant. I did. Two weeks later they mailed it back. I called Xfinity mobile again. They laughed and said that was “strange” and said I needed to go into
The store. I did. Was told trade in expired because the didn’t get the phone within 30
Days and the value of old phone was $100.
I called again when got home and
Asked for supervisor. After two hours on hold I was told there was nothing that could be done because I didn’t follow the contract I signed. Told her how many employees said same thing so I assumed they were telling me the truth. I asked if they would take new phone back and cancel the “sale”. They said no

All promotional details would also be provided within the customer approval process during the time of sale. With no device traded in, we would be unable to provide the promotional trade-in credits. Have you contacted the Xfinity Mobile team to see what other options are available? If it is beyond 14-days, the device would be unable to get returned as it would be over the return policy located on our 'How do I return or exchange my mobile device and accessories?' support page.
