Apple Watch SCAM!!!?
I was changing my internet. Was offered a year of free cell phone. Then they said you also get a free Iwatch. I am now paying for this watch. This thing feels so scummy. This was over the phone with someone I could barely understand telling me I can get a free watch. This can't be legal. I will be looking into further legal repercussions but I just want to get rid of this stupid watch and this terrible service from this terrible company at this point.

The watch is free, but you'll receive bill credits each month until the cost of the device is paid off. The other caveat is you pay an extra $10 month watch data fee. They should have explained this to you. Or was noted in the contract you signed/approved.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I’m a Platinum member and there was a promotion for an Apple Watch/smartwatch in my rewards. I clicked the offer to redeem it, but something went wrong and I was never able to complete the redemption. Later, the reward showed as used/expired even though I never actually received or redeemed the watch.
I contacted Xfinity chat several times, probably 5–6 times. One agent told me they could give me the watch for free, while another agent said I was not eligible and that the offer was only for Diamond members. Every time I ask for help, I’m basically told to wait 7 days or contact chat again.
It’s extremely frustrating because the offer was actually showing in my account when I tried to redeem it. I’m not asking for a new promotion. I’m asking Xfinity to honor the reward that was previously offered to my account and that I never successfully redeemed.
