Any idea why I'm only receiving text messages from some senders?
I recently (yesterday) ported my Mint Mobile number into XFinity Mobile and a new iPhone.
When I try to log into xfinity.com, the "verify your mobile number" doesn't send me a one-time code; it just sits there and I don't get a text message. Verifying with email or a push notification works fine.
I can send myself a text message, and bulksms.com can send me a test text message. On the other hand, sandbox.httpsms.com (another SMS tester) fails to send a message and comes back with "Free Msg: Unable to send message - Message Blocking is active".
I don't have any blocked senders in the phone's messaging app.

Update:
While setting up apps on the new phone today, 2FA from everywhere but Xfinity are working. So it looks like the only places I'm not getting messages from are the Xfinity 2FA text and sandbox.httpsms.com. Weird, but at least most everything else seems to be okay.
Unrelated: It took me probably a dozen attempts to set up WiFi calling. It appears that the last time I finally managed to get all of the E911 info in and saved before the "You must call Xfinity Mobile to enable WiFi calling" pop-up arrived.

Update #2:
The Xfinity 2FA texts are now working for me.
And WiFi calling is working great, even the fallback to cellular when no Wifi is available.

Hi there, @rdfrench2. Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. Sorry to hear you were having trouble receiving texts, but happy to hear that it's now working. Were you able to identify what was causing the issue?

Thanks for checking in @XfinityFrank . I have no idea why I wasn't receiving the Xfinity 2FA texts. There weren't any numbers blocked, which would be about all I could mess up on my end with a brand-new phone. I have to admit that it gave me a minor panic attack after the number port, given how many things use SMS for account verification nowadays.
But I just tried it again, and it works.
