Xfinity home app not pushing phone notifications

The Xfinity home app has stopped sending the pop-up notifications

I already checked permissions, deleted all data and install/uninstalled the app

Phone is Samsung Galaxy S25 with One UI 8.5

Just a quick update. Had to upgrade my phone. Now on a Samsung S26 plus. No change in lack of notifications. Had an alarm triggered while out of town this past weekend. No notification through app still.

Thank you for keeping us posted, @CellarMonkey. The engineering ticket we've been tracking for this issue since May was just updated on August 26. Our engineers were able to identify the four root causes they think are behind this notification breakdown, and our development team is trying to write an update that will restore functionality for Android users. We still do not have an ETA, but it does look like some progress is being made. I will let you know if we receive any new updates from our teams.

Well, today an instance occurred where having a functioning app would have really come in handy. A window sensor threw a false alarm for the second time in as many months. No nothing from the app except the text message. I work in an industrial environment and I am not always around my phone or necessarily able to hear it. I happened to walk by and see I had a text. Said my window sensor was triggered, alarm activated and police were dispatched. I caught this one in time, but the previous instance I did not and received a bill for a false alarm. I really hope you are close to that fix, I don't need anymore bills from false alarms.

How can this go on for over four months now without a resolution? We keep getting thanked for our patience, but it's been over a third of a year since this has been reported.

AH9390 I can certainly understand the frustration. Our engineering team has narrowed down some possible causes of this issue. We are continuing to monitor this, and as soon as we have an update to share we will certainly share it here.

Hi, I have all of a sudden started to have this problem on my iPhone 14 Pro. I am running iOS 26.7. It seems like the problem started when I updated my phone to iOS 26.7. I have checked all permissions, toggled on and off, and even deleted and re-installed the app. It's obviously a very, very important part of a security system to be able to alert when a door or window opens. It's very disappointing that this functionality all of a sudden stopped working.
