“I’m replacing an existing failed Xfinity Home door/window sensor. I have the replacement XHS2-UE sensor and need the one-time Technician Code for the self-replacement process.”

Hey there, @user_am2nju, thanks for reaching out through the Xfinity Forums regarding your door and window sensor. If you're using the Xfinity app for the self-replacement, the Technician Code is generated from the touchscreen controller. On the touchscreen, tap

Settings > Advanced Settings > Technician Settings, then enter the Master Keypad Code to access the Technician Code screen. If you're unable to access that menu or the code isn't appearing, let us know what step you're getting stuck on, and we'll help troubleshoot further.
