Customer Service
Xfinity Complaint
I want to file a complaint towards an xfinity manager at Xfinity Store 751 W Antelope Dr, Layton, UT 84041.
On August 14, at around 4:00pm, I was visiting the xfinity store to address an ongoing issue with my Home Alarm System. I asked to speak with the Manager and explained to him that I was tired of the run around I was receiving from multiple agents. I specifically told him I didn’t want to pay $100 dollars for a technician to come to my house and re-connect my cameras to the touchscreen. He told me there was nothing he could do and that I had to contact customer service, again, to settle my dispute. I told him I had already contacted three different agents to resolve the problem. He proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do and didn’t even acknowledge my frustration. At this point things became argumentative and I told him it made no sense a Manager didn’t have any access to resolving this frustrating problem. He walked away and another representative continued to help me and her name was Hennessy.
[Edited: “Inflammatory”]. Well the manager must of heard me and he became confrontational and told me to go get help somewhere else. I told him that I guess I had to call Customer Support for the fourth time to try to resolve the issue. I proceeded to tell him I now needed help with my smart watch and he told me to leave the store or he was calling the police. Since I don’t like to be threatened, in return I told him to call the police.
Well, the police came and they threatened to arrest me for trespassing. I told the officer that he couldn’t charge me with a trespass because I wasn’t told to leave the store or I would be charged with trespassing. The police man went to talk to the Manager to ask them what had happened. When he came back, he told me the Manager wasn’t placing any charges towards me. Again, I reminded the officer he absolutely could not charge me for trespassing, since I was not informed by the Manager of any trespassing. Well, to make a long story short, the police left and I went home.
MY main concern right now is to reprimand the Manager for his incompetence and in ability to deescalate a situation. [Edited: “Inflammatory”] has no clue on how to treat a customer who has been an xfinity customer since 1993!
