Hey there Euther 👋 Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out and bring this to our attention in our community forum. It definitely helps not only us, but others like yourself that may get these type of calls in the future 👍

If you got a call or voicemail from anyone claiming to be from Comcast or Xfinity and speaking about any kind of 50% discount off your bill, the FTC is well aware of this scam. Calls like these are becoming more frequent, but they can be reported directly to https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/, as well as our own Xfinity Security Support page here https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/alerts.

The FTC also has a great webpage on Scams, such as common tactics you may come across, and best practices for keeping your information safe. Please check it out as well!

I just got a voicemail - This is Comcast calling due to continued silence. We have removed your 50% discount and are preparing $1000 penalty charge will be locked into your next bill if you don't call back on the number showing on your caller ID right now.
