Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account. Here’s How to Find It PPG_0017_cdd94bb

I recently moved, now my linked Peacock account doesn't work and my subscriptions page says I need to activate it. When I try I get an error on Peacock:

I verified i am using the right email address. How do I unlink the accounts so I can activate again?

Hello @user_18p6o4, and thanks for reaching out on our Xfinity Community forums!

We can understand how confusing this is, especially since everything was working before your move. The PPG_0017_cdd94bb message indicates that Xfinity is attempting to activate your Peacock benefit, but the Xfinity account is already associated with a different Peacock account.

Before we dig deeper, please try these steps:

  1. Sign in to Peacock directly and try every email address you may have previously used with Peacock, including non-Xfinity email addresses.
  2. If Peacock recognizes an email but you don’t remember the password, use the password reset option and then check the account’s plan information.
  3. Confirm which Peacock account currently shows an active Premium subscription.
  4. Since you recently moved, make sure the new Xfinity account/service address is set as the default account under your Xfinity ID. When an Xfinity ID is linked to multiple accounts, having the wrong account set as the default can interfere with Peacock activation.
  5. Once that is confirmed, return to your Xfinity subscriptions and try the Peacock activation again using your Primary Xfinity ID.

If you continue receiving the PPG_0017_cdd94bb error after those steps, let us know.

At that point, we’ll want to take a closer look at the Peacock entitlement associated with your Xfinity account rather than continuing to send you through the same activation loop.
