Hello user_3qyl23, thanks so much for reaching out here on our Xfinity Forums with your email transition questions! If you've already received the email instructions on making that transition, you can make the switch anytime! These started going out to customers as early as June 2025.

I'm not sure if I received the email to transfer to yahoo. I might of deleted thinking it was a scam.  I just learned recently that this transition is real.  Where or who do I contact to see if the email was already sent to me?

user_kghppd No worries at all if you did miss the message. Current Xfinity customers may also receive an SMS reminder and be notified in the Xfinity app when the Yahoo terms of service are available. Once you accept the Yahoo terms of service, you will only have access to your email through Yahoo Mail.

I was told to switch to Yahoo and I did. After two days some or most of my comcast emails started to get to my computer and phone, but nothing has come to my ipad which

I need when traveling. This hasn't been a smooth transition, and I feel that we should have be apprised of the fact that Yahoo bombards me with adds that I can't delete and forces us to pay $5/month to relieve me of this annoyance. I'm assuming that they paid Xfinity well for it's customers! In any case, what setting have I missed that none of my emails are getting to the ipad?

@user_opeobt Thank you for making us aware you're not receiving any emails to your iPad after the transition. Have you attempted to restart your device? How about removing the email from the app and then adding it back on there, have you tried that?
