Xfinity Live Chat Assistant sent me link asking for Full SSN and DOB

I was talking to an employee through the live chat to help me fix a moving order I had placed.
After they helped me, they asked me if I'd be interested in a new deal, which I said I was.

However when I clicked the link they sent me, it took me to a page that didn't look like the rest of the Xfinity website; the URL has Comcast in it, but it seemed off.
(The link in question: https://iguard-po-1pp.slb.comcast.com:-------- (I put dashes in case the actual link is somehow sensitive))

The weirdest part about the page though was, as the title says, it asked me for my SSN and DOB.
I've never once been asked for my SSN, not even just the last 4 digits, let alone the full thing.

Was this a normal occurrence, or something a bit shadier?

Hello! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are committed to keeping you protected. I am always cautious when providing my info, and I know on some orders personal info may be needed, however without knowing what the offer is, I would be cautious. Please use these resources on our commitment, and how to report potential fraud.

If you need anything @89_tabs let us know, we are happy to help.

@XfinityBrandon Could I just give someone the Chat ID to review it?

Hi - this same thing happened to me yesterday via Comcast Care Chat.   They sent the same iguard link requesting SSN and DOB, so I wanted to see if there was any further information/discussion on this topic?

I spoke with Xfinity and one rep says it may be fraudulent and another rep says it's legit.   Not sure which is correct.   Any updates or feedback on this is much appreciated.
