Xfinity explain Scam operation... please!!!
I attempted to reset my voicemail password and was unexpectedly connected to an individual located in the Philippines. This person proceeded to deactivate my phone, rendering it inoperable. Subsequently, a new line was added to my account without my authorization. The individual then informed me that a support ticket had been created, despite the fact that no such action had been taken. Furthermore, I was asked to provide my Social Security Number (SSN) and birthdate on three separate occasions. Upon providing a fictitious SSN, the individual confirmed its accuracy after the second attempt but made an error during the third attempt. It is worth noting that the individual never called back, possibly due to frustration over the incorrect SSN provided.
What kind of scam identity theft operation are you guys running.....
I feel like taking my phone to another provider...
Trying to get something fixed and the guy on the other end trying to steal my SSN...
