Xfinity did "enhancement" work for 3 days in my area, causing long periods of outages and finally leaving me with no internet service at all. By the 2nd of their work, I had no internent service from 7:30 AM till 5 PM. I work from home and cannot get anything done. Even after they were done that day, I had to reboot my router mutiple times before I could get solid connectivity again. They were supposed to be done after 2 days and then suddenly came back a third day without notice and the internent was out again. This time afterthey were done, ny internent never came back on even after multiple reboots. I tried to reach support and their AI assistant would only say an appointment would need to be made and the earliest time was in 4 days!! It was a struggle to get to a live support person and when I did, all they could do was repeat that the earliest appointment was in 4 days. This is unacceptable. The issue is clearly related to the work they were already doing and they should be able to notify the crew that was already there to let them know something they did is not working and they should return quickly. I pay a lot of money every month to be a "Platinum" member and it does not seem to mean anything. I am sure it will also be a hassle to be credited for the down time as well.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
• As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
• An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

I’m having the same problem. I need to work from home and Xfinity is not giving me enough notice and an end date for the enhancements and therefore I may need to switch my Internet this week to another company if I can’t get some answers. What hurts the most is when I try to call customer service the AI tells me that I have an outage and cannot switch me to an agent. I had to call from another number But still didn’t get any answers. By the end of this week, I will be with FIos or AT&T because I need reliable Internet and right now. Xfinity is not reliable.

The problem with this message it’s not gonna fly with my job. You cannot keep telling me every day that you’re gonna shut my Service off the next day. I need an ETA or more knowledge of why you keep doing this every day…

I have no reason to pay for you for any product and you can’t reliably promise me service ( for $200 plus) by the end of the week, I will be making the decision to move to AT&T or FIOS like everyone else . People have been complaining for about a year about these so-called enhancements. If enough of us drop Xfinity, I bet you they’ll be better movement
