Xfinity available in our area first time ever, have no showed us twice already for our install appointments...

Our area of the city has only had AT&T internet available for the past 20+ years, so we were excited to see Xfinity come in. We set up an appointment for Xfinity to come and install. Two hour appointment window comes and goes and we receive a message saying "Sorry we missed you". Haha! We (along with most everyone else) have a couple of cameras in front of the house, why even lie?

We contact Xfinity chat, (because there's no phone number!) and new appointment window comes and goes, not even a  "Sorry we missed you" this time. Dang.

I want to ask the opinion of everyone else here, is it even worth having Xfinity? If this is the introduction period for our area it seems like they're biting off more than they can chew. It's a really good thing we waited to cancel our last internet provider because I'm thinking we just cancel XFinity instead..

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_8y4e6e I can appreciate how frustrating this has been and I apologize for the experience. This definitely isn't the first impression we want for new customers. We truly appreciate your interest in us as your service provider and I would love the opportunity to help you. Please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address to get started.

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
