Hello @user_xio7zx and thanks for reaching out with your concern on our Xfinity Community forums!
Are you signed is as the Primary user on the account? Only the Primary account holder can add xFi Pods. You would also want to ensure you are on the current version of the Xfinity App.
Another possibility is how your Xfinity Gateway is configured. xFi pods can only be used in conjunction with an Xfinity Gateway that is not in bridge mode and does not have the Wi-Fi bands split. If you are not using an Xfinity provided gateway that meets the above conditions, the option would not appear in the app.
If the gateway is in Bridge Mode, you typically need to disable it through the gateway's admin interface rather than the Xfinity app.
For an Xfinity Gateway, the usual process is:
- Connect to your home network. - Open a web browser and go to 10.0.0.1. - Sign in with the gateway's admin credentials. - Navigate to Gateway / At a Glance. - Locate Bridge Mode and disable it. - Allow the gateway to reboot.
One reason this is relevant to your earlier xFi Pod question is that xFi Pods require the gateway to be in router mode. You would need Admin Tool Online Access enabled via the Xfinity App to complete the above steps if it isn't already.

user_xio7zx Great question! The Xfinity app will help with enabling the access. Just take a look here.
