xFI Pod 2nd generation

I bought a 2nd Gen Pod Extender yesterday (12/22/25). This morning, I observed smoke emitting from the device and detected a burning odor, so I immediately disconnected it. Since other users have reported this same issue, and it poses a significant fire hazard, this product should be discontinued or the defect investigated and corrected.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
