“X Class” internet

How do I know if my area supports X Class? I’m trying to get a gateway with WiFi 7.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi @jp5517 , you pose a great question! Just a heads-up, we have changed the name from X-class to FDX. You can always visit xfinity.com/labels to see a breakdown of the speed plans available in your area. If you happen to see symmetrical upload or download speeds that would mean you are eligible for FDX or EPON services which would grant you the opportunity to receive a gateway with Wi-Fi 7. FDX in particular is only available in the areas below, but we can always check your address in direct message. Just send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.

*Only some areas in these cities will be eligible for FDX speeds.
