Wrong payments request, account closed, and moved out the country

Hi team,

I closed my account approximately three months ago, but I have continued receiving text messages stating that Xfinity is trying to contact me. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach anyone regarding this issue.

I have also tried contacting support through chat, but since my account is no longer active, I have not been able to get assistance.

Recently, I started receiving payment requests through my bank account, but these charges appear to be incorrect. I have already paid my outstanding balance in full, and the modem and all equipment were properly returned.

Could you please review my account and confirm why these payments are being requested? I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Hi there! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We can certainly understand how concerning it would be to continue receiving payment requests after closing your account, especially if you've already paid your final balance, returned all of your equipment, and have since moved out of the country.

We'd be happy to review the account to determine why these payment requests are still being generated and verify the status of your final bill, returned equipment, and any remaining balance that may be showing.

Can you please send us a direct message with your full name and service address so we can take a closer look?

How to send us a direct message:

- Click “Sign In” if necessary.
- Click the “Direct Messaging” icon.
- Click the “Start new conversation” icon, which looks like a pencil and paper.
- In the “To:” line, type “Xfinity Support.”
- As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select “Xfinity Support” from that list.
- An “Xfinity Support” graphic will replace the “To:” line.
- Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
- Press Enter to send it.

Talk to you there!
