Wrong caller ID for outgoing calls from my landline serviced by Comcast. I need you to change it back to the name on the account.

My caller ID for outgoing calls has the wrong name.  I need you to change it back to the name on the account.  Also, when I try to call this number, I receive instructions that I need to enter a 2 digit code because the number is blocked for spam call filtering.  Why???

Hi there, @user_p1if26. Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. We can help update the caller ID name for you. As far as the spam call filtering, you can adjust those settings here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/change-spam-blocker-settings

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

1-Click "Sign In" if necessary.

2-Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.

3-Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.

4-In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".

5-As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

6-An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

7-Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

8-Press Enter to send it.
