WORST SERVICE EVER
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Xfinity. Moving is already an incredibly stressful process, and Xfinity made the situation significantly more frustrating by making it unnecessarily difficult to transfer my internet service to my new location. When I initially contacted Xfinity about moving my service, I spoke with numerous agents who assured me that my bill would remain $40. I was later told that I would actually be charged $75. While I understood that my previous promotional pricing had ended, I was willing to accept the higher price and simply asked to switch to a new promotional plan. That is when the problems became even worse. Throughout this entire process, no one has been transparent or consistent about the pricing. Different agents have given me different information, and I have repeatedly been promised one thing only to have something completely different happen afterward. I should not have to contact multiple agents just to figure out what I am actually being charged or what plan I am being placed on. The problems continued after I moved on September 1. My Wi-Fi would not connect at my new location, so I scheduled a technician appointment for September 2 between 12:00 and 2:00 PM. No one showed up during that appointment window. I then contacted an agent, who rescheduled the appointment for the same day between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. Because I had still not received any confirmation for the new appointment time, I contacted another agent to confirm that someone would actually be coming. Instead, that agent told me that there were no appointment slots available for the rest of the day. This directly contradicted what the previous agent had told me. I now have multiple receipts and records of these interactions, so I can verify what I was told by each representative. The most frustrating part of this experience is the lack of transparency and accountability. I should not have to repeatedly contact Xfinity and receive conflicting answers from different agents. Customers deserve clear, accurate information about pricing, appointments, and service. Instead, I have been given promises that are not followed through on and information that changes depending on which agent I speak with. I am asking Xfinity to review my account and all of the records associated with these interactions, provide me with a clear explanation of what happened, and resolve my service and billing issues. I also expect Xfinity to honor any commitments that were made to me by its representatives. After everything I have dealt with during an already stressful move, the least I expect is honest communication and reliable service.

Hi there. We can understand why this experience has been so frustrating, especially while you’re already dealing with a move.
From what you described, there are really two things we need to review: the pricing you were quoted during the transfer and the technician appointments that were scheduled but did not happen as expected. You were given different information about whether your bill would remain at $40 or increase to $75, and then received conflicting information again about the September 2 technician appointment.
We’d like to review the account history, the move order, the current plan and pricing, and the appointment records together so we can see exactly what was promised and what was actually entered on the account. We can also check the current status of the service at the new address and what still needs to happen to get you connected.
Once we have that information in front of us, we can give you a clear answer on the billing and any documented commitments that need to be addressed.
