Wires at the pole have been cut/broken due to vehicle contact
Yesterday my neighbor was moving the lawn and he hit a bundle of wires on the pole. It appears that he has yanked out the internet wires, bright speed fiber optic and several other lines. All connectors and wires were taken out. I called Xfinity and the earliest they can send out a technician is Tuesday 5/5 between 2-4pm. I went to neighbors and they are also having problems. Why are they not coming sooner if they know it is an outdoor problem?

When something happens that impairs your services or causes issues we strive to address those issues as quickly as possible. We know it can be frustrating when things like repairs don't happen as quickly as you might expect, but we do as you please be patient with us.
Issues like you describe are typically handled as quickly as possible, and are scheduled on a first in-first out basis based on availability of technicians, equipment and materials needed to correct the issue. In some cases, there may be other factors involved to ensure the safety of the personnel making the repairs.
If your particular concern is scheduled out that far, those are typically the root causes of such delays.
