Wire down from truck and box ripped off my new siding
A few weeks ago, while at work, a truck took out my Xfinity WiFi wire and literally ripped the box off my new siding. The fire department came. I was unaware until I came home from work that evening and saw my wire wrapped up tucked behind my shrubs. I call and reported. Fast forward. A tech came and reinstalled wire. I spoke to his supervisor and was advised a bucket truck would be in area, Saturday June 20th and would raise my wire as it is low and will be ripped out again. Im on a Main Streer and many trucks come through. Bucket truck never showed. I called "Paul, the supervisor" as he gave me his number after install. Well, Paul never called back. Yesterday, at 7 p.m. the same tech shows up telling me he needs to reinstall the whole cable as a splitter was put on during initial install. I worked all day, came home cut grass and was just about to jump in shower and have a tech at my door without notice. I declined. He said, "Paul" wouldnt send a bucket truck until the new cable was installed. How absurd. So, the next time the wire is ripped out and damages my siding, there will be further issues. I am.also looking for a different wifi provider. I refuse to deal with this kind of service. There is nothing worse than a supervisor acting as if he cares, when he truly doesnt. Awful. Their people put a splitter on initial install, their second tech came and did another reinstall with same splitter. Now they won't send a bucket truck unless I allow them to.change whole cable. Nonsense.
