WiFi won't connect

I'm trying to connect my new modem but keep getting a "something went wrong" error screen. The app won't allow me to navigate away from this screen. Can you help me get connected

I have the same error message after getting a new upgraded gateway. 
Have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling app without success. The same behavior happens on multiple devices  (iPhone/ipad)

Thank you for letting us know that you have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app @spoonia, we appreciate it. To confirm, is the software on your device up to date as well as the app? Have you tried powering your device off and back on? Do you experience the same issue when using our online web portal https://login.xfinity.com/login?
